Dr. Laura Penn is an expert in leadership communication and the speaking arts. As the Founder of The Leadership Speaking School based in Switzerland, across the globe, she transforms leaders and teams from the world’s most well-known companies, business schools and organizations into authentic communicators of the digital age.
Her clients include the World Economic Forum, International Olympic Committee, United Nations, World Wildlife Fund for Nature (WWF), IMD Business School, Ebay, Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy (LVMH), Nespresso, Salesforce, Logitech, the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA), EHL Hospitality Business School and many more.

Dr. Penn is an award-winning public speaker, author of four books, a four-time TEDx speaker, an author at UN Today, the official magazine of the United Nations and the host of the Leadership Speaking Radio podcast. Native of Sweden and of New York City, she has an eclectic background as both a scientist and as a performing artist. With a Ph.D. in biodiversity management, Dr. Penn is a trained specialist in conservation biology. She is also an accomplished performing artist in dance, starting out as a break-dancer in the 80’s. Mother of two Gen-Zers, she loves gardening, dancing in the living room, reciting Shakespeare, Spotify playlists and Japanese food and fashion.
